i was your bae
we had that thing going on
when you promised me the world,
the stars,the moon and some warm sunshine,
some rain to wash away my tears anytime i would cry because of happiness.
happiness that you brought me of course!
when you promised to show me that light at the end of the tunnel.
the light at the end of the tunnel that everyone had seen except me.
i had not even seen the tunnel itself,
and you promised to show me that too .
you promised to change me into an angel.
and until now i am waiting for my wings to grow
i still trust you.
and adore you.
i believe in all what you promised me.
but you disappeared on me even before all the good things happened to us.
or did your wings grow before mine and you flew away from me?
are my wings gonna grow too?
